Heaven and earth meet in the mind as images of a lighter world.
Images rise in this gate like weather: pictures of how life could be lighter. In shadow the images obscure, breeding fantasy or dogma. In gift they become idealism in its healthy form, a stream of visions offered without the demand that any be obeyed.
The teaching is that ideas are gifts for others, seeds to release rather than houses to live in. Hold your visions lightly, share the ones that keep returning, and let go of ownership. A mind that serves as an open window eventually fills with unshadowed light.
