Biting through to sovereignty over your own life, then loosening the grip.
This gate wants its hands on the controls of its own life: territory, resources, work, diet. Its shadow is control extended over others, the tyrant born of fear. Its gift is authority, sovereignty exercised where it is actually yours.
The practice is fierce honesty about domain: rule your own house completely and no one else's at all. Authority earned this way is felt, never argued. In time even self-control relaxes into something nobler, valor, the courage to let life be as it is while acting cleanly within it.
